Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Parties (“Parties,” “we,” “our,” or the “Service”). By using Parties, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Parties lets you import Partiful calendar events and view them in a schedule and map. Features may change, be added, or be removed as the Service develops. Parties is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Partiful.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account, credentials, and any private calendar links you provide to Parties secure. You must not provide another person’s private calendar feed or access information without their permission. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

3. Partiful calendar links

A personal Partiful calendar link can reveal information about your events. By connecting one to Parties, you confirm that you are authorized to use that feed. Do not share your personal calendar link publicly.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Parties to:

• Access another person’s private event information without authorization
• Attempt to bypass security or access controls
• Interfere with the operation of the Service
• Abuse, overload, scrape, or attack Parties infrastructure
• Pursue unlawful purposes
• Provide information you do not have the right to use

We may restrict or end access if the Service is being abused.

5. Third-party services

Parties relies on third-party services including Partiful, Google, Supabase, Geoapify, map providers, and hosting providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their changes, outages, errors, or data. Partiful may change its calendar format or availability at any time, which may affect Parties.

6. Event information

Parties tries to show event times, addresses, and other details accurately, but event information may be incomplete, outdated, changed by an organizer, or supplied incorrectly by a third party. Map locations and geocoded addresses may also contain errors. Verify important details with the organizer or Partiful before relying on them.

7. Availability

Parties is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of it at any time.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, Parties is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, availability, or completeness of event information, maps, locations, or third-party data.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parties and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes missed events, incorrect event information, incorrect addresses, travel decisions, or loss resulting from third-party services.

10. Termination

You may stop using Parties at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or create security or operational risks.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Parties evolves and will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of Parties after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
